Organisations are invited to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) to Tactran, for support in the delivery and sustainable travel behaviour change projects, under the People and Place Programme for 2025/26
The People and Place Programme has been developed to support projects actively engaged in delivering behaviour change. The programme addresses both active and sustainable travel modes, and includes projects delivered at a community, local and regional scale. The funds aim to encourage projects supporting young people, schools, workplaces, and communities in developing sustainable travel habits, and encouraging behaviour change from less sustainable to more sustainable options. Applications are invited through a two stage process based on an EOI, available to download below.
Project applications can be made to a community fund, a local ‘place’ fund, and/or a regional fund, reflecting the scale of the work proposed. Guidance on the application process, including the most appropriate fund for each project, are set out on the EOI forms, linked below. Tactran will also provide guidance to project applicants throughout the process and delivery.

The EOIs can be completed using the provided form and must be submitted via email to info@tactran.gov.uk by 5pm on 27th January 2025.
Separate forms will be requested for each distinct project, see details in the attached EOIs. Applications must be made using the forms provided.
