Following adoption of the Regional Transport Strategy (RTS) in June 2024, we developed RTS Delivery Plan.
Whilst a range of partners are responsible for the delivery of the RTS through their own delivery programmes, the RTS Delivery Plan seeks to identify:
- Priorities: Identification of the priority locations / populations for interventions. This helps partners focus activity where it will have the greatest impact on outcomes.
- Co-ordination: Identification of proposed work by partners within key centres and strategic corridors. This helps identify works to co-ordinate to help improve the ‘whole’ journey.

Delivery Progress Reports
Delivery Progress Reports collate the actions undertaken by our constituent Councils in the previous year. The reports show where actions align with the locations and populations identified in the RTS and the RTS Delivery Plan. The Delivery Progress Reports are available below:
